I am 59 years and have been singing this song over the years since the 70s. But this video has given me the background to Kris' amazing song as also why I need my Saviour Lord Jesus so much, because looking back it seems I have wasted my time chasing materialistic stuff also that cannot give peace, when it would have been so much more fulfilling to have been in closer relation with and under the disciplne of my Lord God.

There's a lot of people making comments over the last 10 years about this conversation that wasn't easy for Kris. In my opinion he was not making himself the hero in this conversation , apparently he was honoring the Lord Jesus Christ. I think he knew who he was and that he was a better writer than singer. Anyway, it might be a good idea were you commen-taters to also humble yourselves and make the subject the Savior because you have to acknowledge to Him "my soul's in Your hand."
